In this contemporary world, where things are becoming more virtual and people are becoming more techno-savvy, it’s good to know the story behind the creation of Facebook.
Mark Zuckerberg, who is a Harvard undergraduate that time, developed Facebook where everyone can share information and control it securely. It was an exclusive network for the Harvard Community, but later on, the network expanded and conquered other universities, such as Stanford and Yale. Soon, it became a hit across the globe with 500 million active users to date.
Watching the Social Network has made me realize to dream big and to explore every opportunity. I admire Mark, who is of my same age, for being
one of the youngest billionaires in the world. He dared to make a difference by creating a company that stands-out from the rest. He bravely faced the lawsuit on alleged stealing of ideas, wherein, the prosecutors were his wealthy
Harvard School schoolmates. He even experienced school suspension. He literally “faced” it all.
Yes, he even made few enemies – the tagline of the story. He even had conflict with his close friend, facebook CEO Eduardo Saverin. But in the end, frayed relations were patched-up and lawsuits were settled.
